Nippon asks Bottomline to provide weekend support

Bottomline, an experienced 4PL provider that offers planning services for fuels and gasses, today announced its collaboration with Nippon Gases Belgium, a company that produces and delivers the industrial gases argon, nitrogen, oxygen and CO2 to her customers in the Benelux and France.

From January 1st 2024 onwards Bottomline will provide Nippon with a planning service during weekends. Bottomline's planners will answer phone calls from truck drivers, hauliers, customers and Nippon representatives, in the Dutch or English language, and provide them with information or help, and if needed adjust the existing  truck planning. In addition the Bottomline planners check all inventories and tank levels on a regular basis during the weekend and if needed adjust the existing truck planning and inform the truck drivers. With the objective to provide a flawless service to the customers of Nippon Gases Belgium.

"Bottomline provides the service that we were looking for." said Nicolas Péron, Supply Chain and Productivity Director at Nippon Gases Belgium. "Now we are able to reduce the large number of hours that our own planners work during a week, while keeping our service towards our customers and business partners at the same level."

"The service that we provide to Nippon is very much in line with our competences", said Léon van Rijswijk, CEO of Bottomline. "And it is very interesting for us to strengthen our position in the vertical of industrial gases, which I see as a key strategic industry for growth in the future."
