PK Olie chooses Bottomline to optimize and automate

Bottomline and PK Olie have signed a software license agreement for the implementation of the B_ software suite for their truck fleet of 10 trucks.

PK Olie is an oil distributor, based in Krimpen aan den IJssel, that directly supplies high quality fuels, lubricants and AdBlue to customers in the triangle Rotterdam, Utrecht and  The Hague, and through solid partnerships in the rest of The Netherlands. Knowledge, service and accessibility are of great importance in the services that PK Olie provides.

Bottomline will start the implementation project in February with the goal to enable PK Olie to go live with the Bottomline software before the summer. The Bottomline software will be made available to both planners and truck drivers. The planners will be able to plan the truck deliveries in a more efficient way based on the concept of VMI. The truck drivers will be able to do the administration in a more automated way through an integration between driver app and flow meter.

"Bottomline provides us with a great foundation for further growth.", said Marcel Kerpel, owner at PK Olie. "Bottomline's software is proven technology for more than 20 years and enables us to optimize and automate. But maybe even more importantly it gives us better insights in our business and also improved business continuity."

"I believe that PK Olie has the right vision. Too often oil distributors choose for planning in their ERP system or even in Excel, saving a bit on their IT cost, but causing a higher cost on the road and more people in the office", said Léon van Rijswijk, CEO of Bottomline. "But why would you do that if you can get a very smart logistics software suite for a relatively low monthly cost. PK Olie gets it and that gives them the basis for continued success."
