Transport dispatcher

We are looking for a transport dispatcher to join the Bottomline services team. This is your chance to work for Bottomline, a leading company in the European market of Inventory Routing services. Bottomline is a young, dynamic, and innovative company that wants to scale-up to become a global supplier for complex bulk logistics.

The services team of Bottomline currently consists of 19 colleagues spread across the Netherlands (HQ in 's-Hertogenbosch) and Czech Republic (Prague). This team is made up of business analysts, team leads, HR staff, planners and weekend planners. Bottomline is founded in 1998 and we are exclusively on what we call logistics planning solutions. That is our domain. And in that domain we are in the top 3 of suppliers in Europe.

And what we basically do is, we optimize supply chains with our own developed cutting edged software. The supply chain typically exist of a shipper, owning the product that they sell to a customer and that they uses carriers to deliver to that customer. In the supply chain there is an important role for you as a planner to make sure that all the parties in the supply chain work well together and in an optimal way.

Responsibilities

✓ First line on call and dispatcher.
✓ Dispatching & administration of trucks.
✓ Managing and supervising truck drivers.
✓ Monitoring depot run outs and making necessary adjustments.
✓ Answering supply questions from customers and gas stations.
✓ Carrying on-call service outside office hours. 

✓ Supporting your 2nd line colleagues.

Your profile

✓  Available on at least one full day a week (Saturday-Sunday-Monday-Tuesday)
✓  Currently studying for a bachelor or master's degree.
✓  You are results-oriented and feel responsible for the work you do.
✓  Strong alignment with our brand values: agile, capable and reliable.
✓  Strong communication skills. 

✓  Fluent in Dutch and English.
