We are looking for a business consultant to join the b_ team. This is your chance to work for Bottomline, a leading company in the European market of Inventory Routing services. Bottomline is a young, dynamic, and innovative company that wants to scale-up to become a global supplier for complex bulk logistics. As a business consultant you are responsible for the good performance of the B_ software among a group of customers. To ensure this, you will be in contact with the customer for coordination and implementation of software as well as any changes and improvements to it. You play a key role in delivering effective solutions to our customers. Also you have regular contact with the developers and look for solutions for possible problems and new wishes from our customers. Managing customer expectations is also an important factor in this. Our team consists of software engineers, business consultants and technical consultants, all operating from our head office in Den Bosch.

Responsibilities

✓  Account management for a group of customers.
✓  Primary point of contact for customers with requests and problems.
✓  Functional analysis of customer requirements for new and existing customers.
✓  Implementing the b_ software at new customers, including project management.
✓  Setting-up databases, importing data in databases.
✓  Configuring and installing interfaces, configuring the software and testing. 
✓  Delivering software updates.
✓  Creating SQL reports for customers.
✓  Delivering training for customers. 
✓  Testing of delivered features or bug fixes.
✓  Providing second-line support, including investigation of software bugs.
✓  Documenting customer set-ups.

Your profile

✓  A bachelor's or master's degree in related field.
✓  You are a team player with a focus on providing value.
✓  Fluent in Dutch and English, speech and writing.
✓  You have experience with business analysis.
✓  You are able to write specifications for developers. 
✓  You have experience with SQL.
✓  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
✓  You are results-oriented and feel responsible for the work you do.
✓  You are accurate and flexible.
✓  You are reliable and have analytical and technical skills. 
✓  Experience in supply chain management for bulk transport is a plus.

We are looking for a junior software engineer to join our BX Onboarding team. This is your chance to work for Bottomline, a leading company in the European market of Inventory Routing services. Bottomline is a young, dynamic, and innovative company that wants to scale-up to become a global supplier for the markets of complex bulk logistics operations. As a junior software engineer, you will be part of a customer centric ‘Onboarding’ team that is responsible for onboarding new and existing clients onto our next generation Inventory Routing platform. This SaaS platform will offer our customers new business value through advanced optimization, sales forecasting, and real- time responsiveness to events in the supply chain. You will be responsible for migrating new customers from their existing software planning system to our new BX platform. The job has many challenges and responsibilities. Key is building, maintaining, and monitoring integration layer solutions between client systems and BX. Besides development the job also entails handling customer contact, first line support, supporting consultants in the onboarding team with data analysis and amendments. Quality assurance, documentation of processes and API specs, release testing. It is a rich combination of functional and technical skills and responsibilities where the goal is to onboard clients successfully to our BX platform. Our onboarding team consists of a mix of engineers & consultants, operating from our office in Den Bosch. Besides working closely with teammates, you will also collaborate with other teams in the BX organization who deal with product development, algorithm engineering or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

✓  Collaborate with senior developers to understand client integration needs.
✓  Assist in the design, development, and testing of integration solutions.
✓  Participate in code reviews.

✓  Provide technical support and troubleshooting during integration process.
✓  Document technical specifications, procedures, and guidelines.
✓  Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance skillset.

Your profile

✓  A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
✓  Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and principles.
✓  Proficiency in at least one programming language (i.e. Kotlin, Python, TypeScript)
✓  Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, JSON, XML).
✓  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✓  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
✓  Affinity with cloud computing and data analysis
✓  Prior experience with integration projects or API development is a plus.
