Tibor started representing Bottomline at the height of the COVID pandemic in 2020. “I have a wide-ranging network among supply chain experts in the petrochemical and other industries. Many companies in these sectors are always looking out for digital solutions to optimize supply chain processes and save costs. One of them inquired specifically about a solution for supplying fuel to petrol stations, and that’s when I came across Bottomline’s software.” 

“It turned out they were looking for a sales partner in my region, and we very quickly established a flexible partnership. I generate and follow up on sales leads, providing a high-level introduction of the Bottomline software to potential customers. If there’s interest, we propose building a simulation that allows us to calculate potential savings in their specific situation. That’s when Bottomline comes in for a deep dive and to answer any questions.” 

 

What convinced Tibor to enter a partnership with Bottomline? “For me it was crucial that they had a solid set of references and a strong reputation. When I first started looking into this type of solution, everybody I asked pointed me towards Bottomline. What I also like is that it’s not just a software company. Bottomline also provides a planning and transport service themselves, which means they really know the user’s perspective inside out. Liquid bulk transportation - especially if we are talking about petrochemical products - is a very specific sector, and from our first joint meeting at a potential customer, I knew: these people really know what they are talking about. And they provide excellent support during the implementation phase.”
