Bottomline signs deal with DFS for Middle East Africa

Bottomline, a supplier of planning solutions for  fuels and gases, today announced its collaboration with Dover Fueling Solutions to bring supply chain optimization – from depot to tank – to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) Region.

Through this new partnership DFS and Bottomline will provide customers in the Middle East and Africa with a Supply Chain Optimization Solution that can save fuel retailers a great deal of money. The Bottomline software can be used to plan, execute, track, and reconcile deliveries from depot to tank. The algorithms support planners to increase and enhance trucking efficiencies. The user-friendly and intuitive software screens show real time truck and fuel station data, which helps planners improve their responsiveness to operational issues.

“This partnership brings an optimal supply chain solution to Middle East and Africa customers,” Kurt Dillen, DFS VP of Global Business Development. “With the ability to plan, control, and monitor the supply chain, retailers can reduce costs while ensuring an efficient supply chain cost from depot to tank.”

Léon van Rijswijk, CEO of Bottomline, added, “This new partnership, similar to the existing partnerships between Bottomline and DFS for wetstock management, is another example of a valuable end-to-end solution that Bottomline and DFS deliver to the market. The combination of DFS’ reliable hardware solutions and Bottomline’s smart software solutions provide the Middle East and Africa customers with unprecedented optimization and visibility for their supply chain.”
